Pastor Clint preaching in a make shift church on Mt. Paka, Kenya

How It Started

I traveled to Kenya in 2011 with Teresa June Webb of Desert Rose Ministries. Teresa June is a friend we met in ministry school in Huntsville, AL. She was a full time missionary in Kenya from 2010 to 2020. One trip she came to Forward to share her work and I felt the Lord move me to go to Kenya with her for 3 weeks.

I ministered in a few churches and home groups, but the unexpected experience on Mt. Paka has never left me, nor will it ever. I had the privilege of ministering the Gospel to the villagers, who received it wholeheartedly. We saw many physical healings of malaria, typhoid, and other illnesses. They told us even their animals were healed. I have lots of videos, scroll down to see that playlist. I fell in love with these people, and many in our church have grown to love these people as well. We are committed to their advancement and discipleship.

The Conditions

The people of East Pokot have been marginalized for over 250 years. Due to tribal border issues, the people in the Chepungus and surrounding villages on Mt Paka in Kenya live a quality of life that most Westerners have only seen glimpses of on TV. They have no schools, no running water, no reliable food source other than the goats they herd, no access to medicine, and little to no clean water.

The Work

We are currently active spreading the Gospel and building sustainable food sources in the Mt. Paka region. We are now connected with Pastor John Sinet. There are many projects underway in the region. We feel called to fund Gospel missions to unreached villages and build sustainable food resources like gardens and chicken coops.
