Clint and Sara's Connection with Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College

Sara and I met Andrew Wommack in 1997, right after we married. He was speaking at Jim Richards’ church in Huntsville, AL. Charis Bible College was only a few years old and was still in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I attended Impact International School of Ministry in Huntsville before Sara and I launched Forward Church just south of Atlanta in Sharpsburg, GA. But we also stayed up to date with Andrew Wommack’s ministry, attending most of the AWMI Atlanta GTS conferences. We have read all of his books and have been influenced by his perspective of the finished work of the cross. We love how he teaches us to live in the balance of grace and faith.

I subsequently met Pastor Greg Mohr at a conference hosted by Pastor Shannon Carroll in Eustis, FL, at Lake Haven Church. Greg Mohr and I were both speaking at the Overflow Conference. If you don’t know Greg Mohr is the former dean of students at Charis Bible College and the current director of the third-year ministry school at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. He is also the director of ARMI.

At the time I was writing my book Who Do You Love and spoke on the subject at the conference. Pastor Greg expressed that he appreciated my perspective on discovering and fulfilling our calling and invited me to guest speak at Charis Bible College. Sara and I flew to Woodland Park in October of 2021 where I spoke to the third-year ministry students. I had the honor of being invited back in September of 2022. Pastor Greg has arranged it where I will be a regular guest speaker in the school.

Greg has become a friend and mentor. His words of encouragement have been a great blessing to me and Sara. It is a humbling experience but God seems to be working on a connection that is bigger than what we could have arranged in our own efforts.

I am honored to sow into the students at Charis. I believe it is an excellent training center for ministry. Sara and I are also ARMI members. We greatly appreciate Andrew’s ministry and consider it an honor to be connected in this way, co-laboring in ministry together to spread the gospel of the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
